Run a Self Diagnosis On Your Samsung TV Set
When you have a problem with your TV, you may want to run tests to determine the problem. Your TV has several built-in self-diagnosis tools that can help you solve any problems you have with your Internet connection, Smart Hub, Sound, Picture or Signal.
Test your connection to Smart Hub
The Smart Hub Connection Test diagnoses any problems you may have with your Smart Hub connection. Check your Internet connection, your ISP, the Samsung server as well as the application service.
You can use the Picture Test to determine if picture problems are caused by the TV itself or something else. The Image test displays a high-definition photo that you can examine for defects or flaws.
If your TV is having audio problems, you can run a Sound Test to find the cause of the problem.
Note:
The Sound Test plays a melody to help determine if there is a problem with the TV speakers. If the melody plays correctly, there may be a problem with a connected external device.
If your TV is connected to a wireless antenna, you can view the signal information. This will let you know if you need to adjust the antenna to increase signal strength and improve reception of HD channels.
