Run a Self Diagnosis On Your Samsung TV Set

Last Update date : Jun 05. 2025

When you have a problem with your TV, you may want to run tests to determine the problem. Your TV has several built-in self-diagnosis tools that can help you solve any problems you have with your Internet connection, Smart Hub, Sound, Picture or Signal.

Test your connection to Smart Hub

The Smart Hub Connection Test diagnoses any problems you may have with your Smart Hub connection. Check your Internet connection, your ISP, the Samsung server as well as the application service.

In the event that after the test the platform does not have a successful connection to the Internet network, you can select the Reset Smart Hub option to restore the platform settings and the Samsung account stored in your television.

You can use the Picture Test to determine if picture problems are caused by the TV itself or something else. The Image test displays a high-definition photo that you can examine for defects or flaws.
