What is an error code?
If your washing machine isn't working, you may see an error code on the display. Check the codes and instructions below and try the suggestions provided. If any codes continue to appear on the display, contact a Samsung Authorized Service Center for further assistance. If you need additional help, you can request assistance at this link.

-Make sure the water faucets are open.

-Clean the mesh filter, as it may be clogged.
-All buttons will be disabled for 3 minutes after the error codes appear. |

The water is not draining |
-Check that the drain hose is not frozen or clogged.
-Check that the drain hose is inserted correctly, depending on the connection type.
-Clean the debris filter, as it may be clogged.
-Confirm that the drain hose is straight up to the drain system.
-If the error code persists, contact a customer service center. |

Operating the washing machine with the door open |
-Check that the door is properly closed.

The Add Door was opened without pressing Start/Pause (Hold to Start). |
This message appears when you open the Add Door without pressing Start/Pause (Press and hold to start). If this happens, do one of the following:
Press the Add Door key to close it properly. Then, press and hold the Start/Pause key (Press and hold to start) and try again. To add laundry, open the Add Door and add the missing laundry. Close the Add Door properly. Then, press and hold the Start/Pause key (Press and hold to start) to resume. |
SUD |
It occurs when there is a lot of foam in the equipment. |
-Remove excess foam. |

Additional error codes
Make sure the cold water supply hose is firmly connected to the cold water faucet. If it's connected to the hot water faucet, the clothes may become misshapen after a few cycles.
Solutions
- Make sure the cold water supply hose is firmly connected to the cold water faucet.
- Turn off the machine and restart the cycle.

Screen for additional rinsing.
Solutions
- If the additional rinsing message is displayed, the detection is incorrect.
- The screen can be unlocked by pressing any button.

The main door lock/unlock is not working properly.
Solutions

The MEMS sensor is not working properly. The MEMS sensor is basically a vibration sensor that monitors the computer board in case it is experiencing vibrations or is out of balance.
Solutions
- Turn off the computer and restart the cycle.
Note:
- You may have a different code depending on your washing machine model.
- If a code continues to appear on the display, contact a Samsung Authorized Service Center for further assistance.
This code may appear when the washing machine has lost power or if the power supply is fluctuating significantly. (Low voltage has been detected or the electronic control needs to be checked.)

- Check that the power is being supplied correctly.
- Check that the power plug is plugged in.

Check the high temperature heating system.
Solutions

The water level sensor is not working properly.
Solutions

Checks communications between the main PBA and the inverter.
Solutions
- Check the inverter PCB and wiring harness.
- Depending on the condition, the unit may automatically return to normal operation.
- Turn off the unit and restart the cycle.

When the clutch position cannot be detected.
PC1, PE1
After the clutch position is detected, the clutch chamber position signal is output incorrectly.
