How to set up the Wireless One Connect Box with your Samsung TV
Connecting a Wireless One Connect Box to your Samsung TV allows you to seamlessly access a variety of external devices while keeping your entertainment area organized and clutter-free. The Samsung Wireless One Connect Box is compatible with numerous devices, including set-top boxes and gaming consoles.
Note: This guide applies to Wireless One Connect Boxes and Samsung TVs sold in Canada.
Review the following precautions before setting up your Wireless One Connect Box:
- Ensure that the Wireless One Connect is installed within a distance of 10 meters from the TV screen.
- Install both the Wireless One Connect and TV in the same space, and use only the dedicated Type-C power adapter and cable included with the Wireless One Connect.
- The Wireless One Connect and TV require separate power connections.
- The Wireless One Connect is not compatible with other similar wireless devices and cannot be used interchangeably.
- Avoid placing the Wireless One Connect in locations where an obstruction, such as a wall, may hinder its connection to the TV.
- Do not place the Wireless One Connect inside a closed metal cabinet, as this may affect its functionality.
You can follow the steps below to set up your Wireless One Connect Box.
Start by connecting the Wireless One Connect Box to your Samsung TV using the included Type-C power adapter and cable.
Note: The Wireless One Connect is set to pairing mode by default. If needed, press and hold the Wireless One Connect’s PAIR button for three seconds to enter pairing mode (refer to the next paragraph for the button's location and more information).
The initial setup screen will appear on your Samsung TV. Follow the on-screen instructions, such as selecting your preferred language.
Tip: The Wireless One Connect’s model name is located on the bottom of the device. You may need to refer to this information when connecting.
If you need to connect the Wireless One Connect at a later time, you can do so through the TV’s Settings menu.
❶ From the TV’s Home screen, navigate to Settings.
❷ Select All Settings, then choose Connections.
❸ Select Wireless One Connect, and then choose Set up Wireless One Connect.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
The Wireless One Connect Box features a PAIR button that allows you to perform various functions.
Functions of the PAIR button
- Turn on the Wireless One Connect Box: Press the PAIR button once.
- Enter pairing mode: Press and hold the PAIR button for 3 seconds.
- Perform a factory reset: Press and hold the PAIR button for 10 seconds.
Blinking blue LED indicator during pairing
A blinking blue LED indicates that the Wireless One Connect Box is in pairing mode and ready to connect to your TV.
- The Wireless One Connect Box enters pairing mode by default when it is powered on for the first time or has not yet been connected to the current TV.
- To manually re-enter pairing mode, press and hold the PAIR button for 3 seconds.
The LED indicator on the Wireless One Connect Box provides visual cues about the device's current status.
