Welcome to your new Galaxy Ring, an innovative device designed to enhance your daily life by seamlessly integrating health and connectivity. This section will guide you through the initial steps to adjust, connect, and start using your Galaxy Ring effectively.

Adjusting your Galaxy Ring for optimal comfort

To ensure both comfort and accuracy, wear your Galaxy Ring with the orientation indicator facing the palm of your hand. Select a finger where the ring fits snugly without being too tight (this avoids discomfort and ensures the ring does not slip off). An optimal fit is crucial as it allows the sensors to function effectively and gather accurate data.

Connecting your Galaxy Ring to your mobile device using Bluetooth

Before attempting to connect your Galaxy Ring, ensure that it is fully charged. Place the Ring in its charging case; if the battery status indicator does not light up, connect the case to a power source and charge for at least 10 minutes. While the Ring is charging, ensure that the latest version of the Galaxy Wearable app is installed on your mobile device. You can download or update this app via the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Please keep the following recommendations in mind when using your Galaxy Ring:

  • Nicks and scratches may occur even during daily activities if the ring is not handled carefully, and such damage is not covered by the warranty.
  • Wear your ring on the hand you use less often to minimize the risk of damage.
  • Avoid wearing metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers to prevent scratches.
  • Remove your ring when lifting or handling heavy and hard objects to prevent damage.
  • Avoid wearing your ring during exercises that involve heavy machinery or weights to prevent hand injuries.
  • Be cautious not to damage your ring with other objects, such as phones, phone cases, or watches.
  • Certain features like step counting may be affected if you are holding a magnetic object in the hand wearing the ring.
  • Ensure your finger and the ring are clean and dry before putting it on.
  • If you experience skin irritation, stop wearing the ring immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid using an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the ring, as this could damage its sensors.
  • Slight indentations may appear on the inner band of the ring from the rubber pads on the storage cradle if stored for extended periods; however, this does not affect the device's performance.

Important:

In case of emergency, if you need to cut your Galaxy Ring, do so along the orientation indicator to minimize the risk of damage to the battery.
